Instructions to the participating Graduates:

  • All the participants to be present in the campus strictly by 8:30 AM, gates will be closed by 9:00 AM.
  • Participants must come in formal attire.
  • Participants must not carry mobile phones to the program
  • Participants must not take photos or selfies during the program
  • Participants must strictly follow the procedure laid in the brochure
  • Participants to be disciplined, any noise, talking to other participants or any other kind of disturbance will not be allowed.
  • Participants must follow the queue as per the instructions.
  • Participants must not clap during the certificates presentation
  • During the certificate collection, face the camera with smiling face, bow to the chief guest while collecting the certificate, fast and disciplined movement will be highly appreciated.
  • Strictly no group photos during the program.
  • Participants must go back to the respective seat after collecting the certificate. Be seated till the end of the program.

We are happy to invite you for Induction Program on 26-11-2020 from 10.00 am onwards at Open Auditorium @GCET for students of B.Tech I Year of Academic Year 2020-2021.

B.Tech I Year newly admitted students Induction program originally scheduled on 22nd Nov is postponed to Friday 26th Nov,10AM onwards. Students with parents are cordially invited.

College will be working on Sunday(14-11-2021),till 3PM for B.Tech Admissions Process.

All the students who have registered for BEC Preliminary, Vantage and Higher are informed that their final Examination of BEC would be conducted on 14,15th of December 2020. Detailed schedule would be intimated later.

Department of ECE got approval from AICTE under ATAL scheme to conduct an online 5 days FDP on “IoT and its Applications”. This program is scheduled from Dec 01 - Dec 05, 2020. The FDP is designed specially to faculty members and research scholars to acquire skills in using IoT platform and also to fulfill the requirements of IoT professionals in industries. The program aims at giving a comprehensive coverage of Theory and Hands-on experience on IoT and its Applications. Eminent personalities with expertise in related fields from IITs, NITs, HCU and stake holders from different organizations like Hanbit Automation Technologies, Vidcentum R & D Pvt. Ltd, and Smart Bridge Technologies, will form the core faculty for delivering lectures and conducting hands-on sessions during the program. All Interested faculty from GCET may join this program and also GCET Faculty are requested to inform about this program to known faculty members in other colleges.

QP pattern for two hour external exam:
Two questions from each unit will be given, out of which the student has to answer one question. Each question carries 14 marks.
The part A of 20 marks is removed.
So 10 questions out of which 5 covering one question from each unit has to be answered

Important Notice:
B.Tech IV Year II Sem (2016-20 Batch) Students are informed to follow the end semester exam schedule which was posted on the college website. The exam schedule which is mentioned in the hall tickets is not upto date. Hall Tickets/Answer Scripts are generated in the month of June which cannot be altered now w.r.t exam dates.

In the background of GoTS’ circular to its Dept staff dt June 20, 2020, it is decided to regulate the attendance of our college faculty and staff as follows effective from tomorrow ie June 22, 2020 up to June 27, 2020.
All HoDs, Deans, CoE, and AO will continue to attend college;
Skeleton staff of Accounts,Transport, and Administration Sections should attend college.
Essential Electrical and General maintenance, System Administration staff should attend. Librarian should also attend.
The other department faculty, other than those on leave, need not attend college.They will be deemed to be WFH and should stay in the HQ and should be able to come to college ,if required, at short notice ( 3 to 4 hours)
All the staff who are not required to attend college , and who are not on leave will also be considered as WFH.
Respective HoDs / In-charges should prepare duty roster of their staff and inform the staff accordingly.
The staff assigned duty at college, and using college transport, should contact Mr Mahender, Transport-in-charge for transport arrangements.

Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, as per instructions from Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and Registrar, JNTUH, this year all students, faculty and staff are suggested to celebrate International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June, 2020 from their respective homes at 7AM. The theme of IDY this year is Yoga @Home and Yoga with family.
